Exercise 1: Analyzing Art Direction Pratices in Creative Company
For this exercise each group need to selects one creative company whose art department aligns with your programme specialisation areas (Graphic Design, UI/UX, Digital Animation, Entertainment Design, Immersive Design). The group will research and present a cohesive company profile addressing four sections. Each member takes one section and becomes the subject-matter lead for that part.
For our group we trying to apply interview with bandai namco at the first and then we waiting for few week to reply us. but unfortunately they reject us.
After that, we did try out other comapny but they reject us also due to their time and job like Knot Studio and Larian.

Despite these challenges, our lecturer later helped us by suggesting a local company, and we eventually managed to secure an interview with the founder. This opportunity turned out to be meaningful, as we gained valuable perspectives on real-world art direction responsibilities, team collaboration, and decision-making in design projects. For this project I learn that, finding company for busy will be hard to answer us. after we get our interview the other part will be solve easily.
For my individual role, I focused on creating the Art Director Profile, which involved researching the interviewee’s background, summarizing their daily responsibilities, and identifying the skills and tools used in professional art direction. Through this process, I learned how much creative leadership depends on both visual communication and project coordination, which gave me a deeper appreciation for the role of an Art Director in the design industry.
