Project 01 & 02 : Animated Infographic Poster

Instructions


For this project, we needed to redesign an infographic poster following good design practices as well as make minimal animation for the same poster.

Part 1: Animated Infographic Poster

INSTRUCTION:
1. Choose 1 infographic poster reference from Internet (Please consult before proceed)
2. Redesign the poster into A4 size. Sketch the idea and process
3. Redesign and simplify the poster based on visual hierarchy & typography
4. Simplify the poster's design based on color, shape & pattern
5. Attach your final poster on E-Portfolio with explanation and reflective writing

First I needed to search the internet for an infographic poster and ask for consultation. And here are some of the image I found:

After asking feedback from Mr. Shamsul, he suggest me taking the fourth picture to redo which is the unhappy meal.

Task 2: Minimal animated infographic

For the task 2, My plan is to make every part appear one by one. which make viewer get to focus on one by one. So I start it on adobe after effect to do the animation.

Feedbacks

Week 4: It's too rough and not professional enough, suggest to look at online to getting more idea to change it.

Week 5: The feedback is, the typographic is not so consistency, For the title , The highlight for The is too unnecessary, you can try to remove it. Too many boxes use try to reduce it and maybe can change for some picture.

Reflection

For this project, I find out that I didn't get to enjoy the project with some reason. First is about the idea, I find out that I am not really good in doing redesign for fixed information, I keep trying to make every part stick together. The second part is about the animation, I need to relearn it for adobe after effect, because I wasn't experience enough in this software. But it's still pretty fun to relearning it. Overall, it was a beneficial and helpful project for designing, and this  project deepened my understanding on how to improve my design by applying thoughtful structure, hierarchy, and visual enhancements
